You have already won when giving your donations of £18, £36 or £50 well spent.

Final date for the draw:

The draw will take place in the Panim el Panim offices in Yerushalayim on Rosh Chodesh Shvat / 25 January 2012 but only once most of the tickets are sold.

This will enable us to book your tickets and organise other arrangements in time.

Call TODAY without delay!!

With less than 3 weeks left until the draw the tickets are expected to be zapped up quickly.

Call Gershon Schneider on 07423 084297 or email gershonplp@gmail.com to purchase and receive your winning ticket.

Gershon is a representative from Panim el Panim in Jerusalem who will be in Manchester for the week of the 8th to 12th January. He will be happy to meet and assist you with choosing the winning ticket both during his visit and thereafter.

Why only 1000 tickets? As we work on a very frugal budget, the funds generated from the sale of these tickets is adequate to support our activities in this region for the duration of the year.

* Our leading Rabbis all agree that it is a great Mitzvah to support and donate to this effort, even from money set aside for ma'aser

Who are we:

Panim el Panim is a revolutionary apolitical non-profit educational outreach organisation in Israel aimed at Strengthening Unity and Jewish Identity.

Unfortunately until today in Israel there is a large secular population, that know little if at all about their Jewish Heritage, identity and destiny. We are experiencing an amazing miracle in that thousands of secular Jews (pupils, students, soldiers, kibbutznikim, business professionals and educators) are thirsty for a set of values, meaning and purpose. We are respected and accepted in their circles and they are turning to us with their questions. We have a unique opportunity to herald a change and be at the forefront of this national and natural revival that can only be described as an awaking of Am Yisrael`s neshama to Unify us all for the inevitable to come.

All activities and meetings are undertaken 'face to face' with great humility, respect for all and a burning and unconditional love for Am Yisrael.

Directed by Col (Res) Geva Rapp and leading kiruv Rabbis Zeev Karov, Eliezer Kashtiel and Yehuda Ben Yishai to name but three, we have seen phenomenal results in the last 6 years in the enthusiasm to learn about their heritage and motivation to serve in combat units among Israeli youth and young adults.

Rav Karov's son Lt. Aharon Karov (See HERE) was the most critically injured officer in Operation Cast Lead, who today through Hashem's miracles and blessing is a father and leads a functional life. He has just celebrated the birth of a son!!

Rabbi Eliezer Kashtiel of the mechina in Eli was the personal Rav of Major Roi Klein HY"D who gave his life to save his soldiers during the Second Lebanese War with 'Shma Yisrael' in his heart and on his lips.

Rabbi Ben Yishai is the father of Ruti Fogel HY"D from Itamar, who adopted his 3 surviving grandchildren. When asked during the shiva (10 months ago) what gives him the strength to do what he does, he answered: “We can all have legitimate differences of opinion, but we cannot have difference of heart!”

Derech Eretz Kadma leTorah:

Beside many programs, we teach fundamental Torah values and B"H are highly respected in all the 45 secular High Schools in 18 major cities reaching 22,500 pupils monthly within the schools' curriculum as well as giving 4,500 Fighting Spirit shiurim in all the IDF training and officer bases; field brigades; 80 Shabbat programs and Heritage Tours around the country touching the souls of more than 100,000 soldiers over the course of the year.

We were recently commissioned by the IDF Chaplaincy to teach on their behalf in a renewed Jewish Awareness Educational program crucial to maintaining a high level of morale and knowledge of soldiers and officers.

Our Midreshet Oz/ Midreshet Reut program works in tandem with the Heads of the IDF Chaplaincy and trains over 50 Rabbis/Officers who religiously visit bases and field camps throughout the country, motivating with words of encouragement and connecting these champions of faith, fighting side by side in a shared destiny and resolve to protect our land at all odds, especially in the Israel of today with attacks from within and without!

It is therefore appropriate that we start this drive between Channukah and Purim and that we as Jews throughout the world can, in our own small way, lend our support to this effort that has and will continue to keep the flame of Jewish Pride alive.
