Petition to urge President Obama to condemn the Palestinian Authority for glorifying terror

The ZCC urges you to help One Jerusalem who is joining the Wiesenthal Center in urging President Obama to condemn the Palestinian Authority for glorifying terror. For the second time in less than a month the Palestinian Authority is honoring a terrorist and mass murderer of innocent Israelis.

On 8 April 2010, a street next to a Presidential compound in Ramallah was renamed in honor of Yehiye Ayash, Hamas' arch terrorist and chief bomb maker, whose advanced techniques of suicide bombing led to the murder and maiming of hundreds of innocent Israelis on buses and in bus depots throughout the State of Israel.

With the Obama Administration's overreaction to Israel building more apartments in an established neighborhood in Jerusalem, one would expect the Administration to condemn the Palestinians for continuing to glorify terrorists. Shockingly, the Administration has done no such thing. To make matters worse, Vice President Biden specifically asked Abbas not to hold such a ceremony when Biden was visiting Israel.

"This is an outrageous glorification of terrorism by the Palestinian Authority," read a statement from the Prime Minister's Office released late Wednesday night. "Right next to a presidential compound in Ramallah, the Palestinian Authority has named a street after a terrorist who murdered hundreds of innocent Israeli men, women and children. The world must forcefully condemn this official Palestinian incitement for terrorism and against peace."
