December 2009 - Leeds Anti Israel Meeting - Can You Attend, Advocate For Israel, And Record What Is Said?

The British Committee for the Universities of Palestine (BRICUP), Scottish Trades Union Council and SOAS Palestine Society, supported by War on Want and Palestine Solidarity Campaign are presenting a lecture entitled "Israel, the Palestinians and apartheid: the case for boycott and sanctions"

It is important that these lectures are attended, Israel's position explained, and information about comments made at them are recorded.

It is suggested that if you attend the lecture, that you arm yourself with information about the recent Trade Union Friends of Israel (TUFI) mission to Israel, where prominent Trade Unionists are on record reporting that Palestinians told them that they are opposed to any boycott which would only be damaging for them (see TUFU website below):
